The E-Z-GO Liberty has created a niche market in the golf cart industry. Having four forward-facing seats is something new for E-Z-GO, with the previous models facing the opposite direction. When riding on the back is fun, you feel disconnected from the driver and passenger unless you sit sideways. E-Z-GO solved that problem. Now, you can experience a ride similar to an automobile as you and your passengers fly down the cart path or road. The front end of the golf cart is similar to the Express models, including the cut-in LED lights, stylish grill, and an optional brush guard. There is a model of the Liberty called the LSV that includes the majority of the options needed to make your golf cart legal. The most important options like side and rearview mirrors, seatbelts, and lights can easily be installed or standard. For specific jurisdictions, you would need to check what requirements are needed to be considered street legal.
There is not a gas engine option on the E-Z-GO Liberty. Instead of worrying about the maintenance of a gas golf cart, enjoy the power of lithium. Never worry about changing your oil, filters or refilling gas. With the Samsung SDI Lithium, you won’t have to worry about watering your batteries. This four-passenger golf cart features a maintenance-free battery with an 8-year warranty. 56.7 DC volts and an 11.7 hp motor give the Liberty a top speed of 19.5 mph. A 7-inch ground clearance at the differential allows for off-the-path adventures. One of the new features is an overhead infotainment unit. Please speak to our sales staff for more details.
If you opt for the Links model, your golf cart will feature accessories to help you on the golf course. The tires are Loadstar and on Dayton Alloy Rims. The top speed is 14.5 mph, slower than the Commuter and Explorer models. A 4-bag holder attachment means your foursome can drive in the same cart. Sand bottles round out the accessories for golf, but you don’t need those now, do you?
Communities and some towns have cleared the use of golf carts on public roads. You must check with local traffic laws to ensure your golf cart is street-legal. The Commuter is geared towards that end use. A convex mirror will help you navigate the traffic and meet the requirements for most of your jurisdictions. Fender flares will help protect you from road debris and water from the tires. The tires will be Kruizer Tires and treaded for street or pavement use. The rubber sits on SDR wheels. Turn signals are one of the most important accessories that come standard on this model. Ask our sales staff about the availability of this model or if we can convert another model into this for you.
Large properties, campgrounds, and farms are where the Liberty Explorer will be the most useful. The first thing you will notice as a difference is the brush guard in the front. A black steel bar is mounted to the frame with mounting holes for additional lighting. Paramount M/T tires on Spartan rims will provide a slightly more aggressive tread for more rugged use. A convex mirror and fender flares are also included with this model.
The E-Z-GO Liberty is available in a limited set of colors. If there is no color you prefer, we always have the option of a custom paint job. The factory’s current colors are Black, Bright White, Flame Red, Metallic Charcoal, Ocean Grey, and Slate.
